Can a convicted felon own a black powder rifle at all??

especially in oklahoma?

Can a convicted felon own a black powder rifle at all??
No. A black powder rifle is a firearm. By definition, a firearm is a gun that uses an explosion to propel a projectile.

The state has nothing to do with it, this is a federal law that applies to all states. Can a convicted felon own a black powder rifle at all??
upon entering a air force base my grandpa was asked to open his trunk, he had a muzzle loader in it. the gaurd objected and my grandfather told him to call the superior, the gaurd did and had to allow my grandfather on base with the because federal law does does not consider it a firearm Report Abuse

if he shot somebody and his sentence is SIS (suspended imposition of sentence) he should be able to hunt. but if his sentence was SSA or SAS

then he can't even have a firearm in his possession or even be around a firearm. you will need to consult your local Sheriff's office. anyone convicted of a felony cannot buy a firearm. And if anyone buys it for him can be fined.
no. no guns of any kind but you can do like ted kennedy does and have your spouse buy your guns.
ask your parole officer
No he/she cannot...
