Can you ignite black powder with a model rocket starter fuse.?

im working on a home project for ww2 re-enacting, wanting to use black powder for the smoke, and i was wanting an electric initiator, i was thinking a model rocket starter fuse, but i dont wanna buy the materials i need to test it just to find out it wont work. Can you ignite black powder with a model rocket starter fuse.?
Yes it will work, don't use smokeles powder if you are after the smoke. Can you ignite black powder with a model rocket starter fuse.?
A cheap solution is to use a small low voltage bulb, eg 3v torch bulb,

break the glass, without breaking the element, immerse element

in powder and connect battery power to ignite. A better and safer

smoke source would be something sulfur based, retrieved from a

cheap firework such as a flare.
Done right it certainly would but keep in mind black powder explodes confined or not. Treat the stuff with respect or someone could get a nasty powder burn.

That being said make sure to use a fine grade like FFFg or better yet FFFFg priming powder because they ignite easier.
Yes, it will work... the electric igniters work very well.

I used them for years in pyrotechnics displays.
It will, model rockets are made with black powder.

Black powder does not explode, but it does burn rapidly so still be careful.
no. try using chapstick
