I couldn't find anything about a yellow powder type substance coming from the ear-- but this site above-- can possibly help some... good luck- if you have pain I'd see a dr. for sure.There is a yellow-black powder coming out of my ear on a q-tip. Does this mean I have a fungal ear infection?
In some cases, when you have an ear infection, there can be a yellowish discharge coming from the ear. (I'm not talking about earwax.) Are you having any pains in your ear? Even if you aren't, you should still make an appointment with your physician and he or she can prescribe something to get it cleared up.
