Use Pyrodex (if they still make it) same effect ,pressure,no fouling. Can i load a 9mm semiauto bullets with black powder?
If anyone publishes loading for black powder, you could do that. I'm not sure black powder or even pyrodex would develop enough pressure in the small case to work the action.
If it did, be advised, black powder and pyrodex do not burn as clean as smokeless, so you would have to clean it often.
Can you yes. Is it smart, no. Is it safe, No. The 9mm Luger was made as a smokeless powder cartridge. Loading it with black power and getting the bullet to correct over all length will leave you with little black powder to propel the bullet out of the barrel. You'll most likely jam your firearm tight.
';It would be Cool?
So would failure to feed due to the lower pressure, and
trying to clean all that nasty corrosive black powder fouling
out of your auto pistols mechanism
Real cool!
No.
Black powder doesn't burn as cleanly as smokeless powder. therefore, you could foul your weapon, causing a jam.
not good, your barrel will foul up quickly, and if the bullet gets stuck inside and u shoot the next one, you could damage ur gun and ur hand.
Sure. Do you think your car will run on turpentine?
it would grime up really quick and would jam but ya it would work for about 2 shots
