I'm 23 now, been lifting seriously since I was 16. I weigh 170, max at 295-300, and am only 5'5';. First off, everyone's body is different. As long as you feel ok, then you can keep taking anything. One very important thing to be aware of is your hydration. You need to take at least 64oz of water a day to take pressure of your liver. You won't feel any side effects, but over the course of many years, your liver can get fucked up if you keep pumping supplements into your body without properly using them. If you take supplements, you need to watch your alcohol intake because that combined with the supplements really can **** up your liver and cause you serious problems when you get older. Personally, black powder is my favorite preworkout energy supplement. I've tried them all. MRI is a popular brand because they use a very stable formula. If you were to try something like NaNO Vapor, sometimes you will be fine, other times you may break out with a red rash and feel real hot. That's because putting too much NO into your body without an adequate delivery system causes your body to release that energy in different ways, sometimes a rash and hot flashes. With cycling...everyone you talk to will have a different opinion. Mine is this: 1) it takes the human body 21 days to make or break habits. This rule can be applied to almost everything, even weight lifting. 2) with that in mind, after about 1 month, you would have lifted consistently for about 21 days, including taking black powder. After that, your body gets used to it and it begins to use its effect. It's almost as if your body gets immune to it. Therefore, I believe cycling 1 month on, 1 month off any supplement is the best possible idea for two main reasons. First, 1 month is just enough time for your body to not get used to the supplement and its effect. When your are on your month off, you will lose a little noticable strength, but nothing disheartening. Second, when you get back on after taking a month off, your body will experience that initial shock similar to the first few times you took it, which will hopefully help you to keep increasing your strentgth. This is a lot to of stuff to try to type up, it's a lot easier to talk about it, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say and it's helpful.

Have you ever heard of Black Powder being related to increased aggression. I'm 25 and have been training regulary since 2001. Recently my closest friends tell me I've been ';Roid Raging'; (I assure you I'm not on roids) and confronted me asking if I was. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Report Abuse

I'm 20 and started lifting 2 years ago, I was 140 pounds 6' tall, now i am 6'2 170. I took No-xplode pretty much 2 years straight now, with a month break here and there. I agree with most of what Mr. Hammer has to say except when you say after 21 days you lose the effect, i find you just need to Report Abuse

..... i find you just need to stay hydrated taking no products, since you swell up so much when you take it you need to be taking in the water to feed the swell, or else youll get light headed or something, im no expert but youll be fine on black powder. Report Abuse

my first one got cut off, i meant to say you need to just take more of it for the same effect* my bad Report Abuse
