i have a big science final tomarrow and i don't know a few things. What is needed to make black powder? (like what elements?)?
according to Wikipedia:
The current standard for black powder manufactured by pyrotechnicians today is 75% potassium nitrate, 15% softwood charcoal and 10% sulfur; it appears to have been adopted as far back as 1780.[5] These ratios have varied over the centuries, and by country, but can be altered somewhat depending on the purpose of the powder. What is needed to make black powder?
