Identifying a black powder gun?

I have found a single shot black powder pistol that looks to have a brass case and a pale metal barrel. With a wood hand grip with a single screw thought it to the gun. The only marking on it is CNC and a number (I cannot read it all). I cannot find anything on CNC firearms on the internet so I don't know if it is a real toy, a reproduction, junk or maybe something. Thanks in advance for any help

There are so many different types and make of single-shot pistols that it is impossible to identify from what you've told us.

Is it a muzzle-loader or a breech-loader?

Is it flint or percussion?

Is it long barreled or pocket sized.

Photos would greatly help.

Found?

Just a silly thought, did you report it found?

Or did you find it in your attic?

Other than that, photo(s) would help.

As an example.

I found a car, its blue and has an engine, there is a ';c'; on it, who made it.
Try this

Gotta agree with Doc....a picture would go along way in helping to identify.
